Differentiating myself from half of the MUNers in this world, my MUN journey kicked off in my first year of undergrad at Maastricht University. Honestly, if you told me back then that I’d make it this far, I would've thought you were lying. EuroMUN and I? We've had a wild ride with all the ups and downs, but I’ll always return to the place that made me happiest. 

If you didn´t know, mymun has its delegation. It is a powerhouse team of 18 MUNers representing us worldwide. From America to Europe, these delegates are some of the most active in the MUN World. Thanks to Agnese´s selection and coordination, our delegation is slaying at each conference they go to. Their MUN CVs are absolutely stacked. And one delegate who stands out for sheer presence and dedication? That is Mailaau. 

Okay, let’s get real for a second—this happens to the best of us. So, yeah, I got rejected as a chair for the first time (yes, I’m exposing myself here). And honestly? It was super sad, and during exams period (lol). I thought my application was a chef’s kiss: a perfectly crafted motivation letter spot-on topic proposal. But guess what? I wasn’t chosen. And you know what? That’s okay!

Grab your popcorn because the MUN Stars is back, and we’re diving straight into business! As I brainstormed who to interview for this new season, I found myself drawn back to my MUN peers in Istanbul because sometimes, you just have to return to where you were happiest, right? That’s when I thought of my friend Emir for an interview. Trust me, you’ll love him as much as I do.
