Topic

Human Rights in the Age of Digital Surveillance.

About the committee

HRC – “Human Rights in the Age of Digital Surveillance” Governments and corporations worldwide are increasingly using mass surveillance tools such as facial recognition, biometric databases, and internet monitoring in the name of security. While these technologies aim to prevent crime and terrorism, they often violate fundamental rights to privacy, freedom of expression, and dignity. Delegates will explore how to balance national security with the protection of human rights, shaping the global framework for digital freedoms.
