About

#BridgetheFuture

Bridging minds through diplomacy.

BGMUN is a conference that bridges diverse ideas, perspectives, and voices worldwide through diplomacy.
With its experienced academic team, high-quality committee content, and visionary organizational approach, BGMUN returns with its 2nd edition, BGMUN'26.
Our Mission: To bring together young people from all over the world, from different cultures and regions, within the framework of a culture of debate, global awareness, and diplomacy, thereby developing their leadership, critical thinking, international cooperation, and negotiation skills.
Our Vision: To ensure that the youth of the future are more confident, competent in crisis management, and more aware by building bridges between different voices, different ideas, and different perspectives. To be a bridge to an environment where young people who will shape the future are not afraid of differences and can freely express their thoughts.
BGMUN does not aim to offer you a typical MUN conference experience; with its professional academic team, BGMUN invites you to discuss in a real parliamentary setting, to bring together diverse perspectives with participants from all over the world, to question and understand, to produce solutions, and to build bridges to a better future.

💙BGMUN is honored to invite you to a fun and welcoming environment where you can socialize while being active in international issues. Become one of the voices shaping the future at BGMUN’26!

Delegates in SOCHUM are expected to engage in nuanced debate, navigate complex geopolitical considerations, and formulate innovative yet practical solutions that uphold the principles of human dignity, equality, and international solidarity. Through diplomacy, negotiation, and consensus-building, participants will work towards addressing contemporary global challenges while balancing national interests with collective responsibility.

    About the committee

The Joint Crisis Committee (JCC) is designed to simulate dynamic historical and political events through fast-paced debate, strategic decision-making, and crisis management. Unlike traditional committees, JCC allows delegates to represent opposing sides in a conflict, respond to evolving situations, and directly influence the course of history through their actions. Under the agenda item “The American Civil War,” delegates will examine the political, military, and social tensions that divided the United States during one of the most significant conflicts in modern history. Representing both the Union and the Confederacy, participants will navigate battlefield developments, diplomatic challenges, economic pressures, and leadership decisions that shaped the outcome of the war. The aim of this committee is to encourage delegates to analyze historical events, develop strategic solutions, and explore alternative outcomes while addressing the complex issues surrounding the American Civil War.
