BOLMUNPAZ seeks to go beyond conventional debate.
Delegates are encouraged to defend their interests firmly while understanding that diplomacy ultimately requires the ability to listen, negotiate, compromise, and build consensus.
International and Hybrid Experience
One of the defining characteristics of BOLMUNPAZ 2026 is its commitment to making international participation possible regardless of geographical distance.
Through a combination of in-person and online committees, as well as initiatives such as Proyecto Hacienda, BOLMUNPAZ seeks to reduce the logistical barriers that often prevent students from participating in international Model United Nations conferences.
Delegates traveling from other cities or countries may apply to Proyecto Hacienda, which can provide accommodation with verified La Salle School host families, additional meals, local transportation, and coordinated arrival and departure assistance.
Together, these initiatives allow BOLMUNPAZ to connect students from different cities, countries, cultures, and educational backgrounds through a shared diplomatic experience.
Proyecto Hacienda – BOLMUNPAZ Hospitality Program
To make BOLMUNPAZ more accessible to participants coming from other cities and countries, the conference introduces Proyecto Hacienda, a hospitality initiative designed to provide visiting delegates with a safer, more welcoming, and more affordable experience during their stay in La Paz.
Through Proyecto Hacienda, eligible participants may be hosted by the family of a verified La Salle School student who is part of the BOLMUNPAZ community.
Depending on the assigned host family and the participant’s arrangements, the program may include:
- Accommodation during the conference.
- Meals outside the official conference program.
- Local transportation related to the participant’s stay and conference activities.
- Reception and assistance upon arrival in La Paz.
- Transportation to the airport or corresponding departure point at the end of the conference.
- Support from a local student host and family throughout the participant’s stay.
The objective of Proyecto Hacienda goes beyond accommodation. It is designed to create a genuine cultural and community exchange, allowing visiting delegates to experience La Paz alongside local students while becoming part of the BOLMUNPAZ community.
For international and out-of-town participants, the conference organization will also coordinate their arrival and departure logistics. BOLMUNPAZ will arrange for participants registered under Proyecto Hacienda to be received upon arrival and transported to their corresponding departure flights or terminals once the conference concludes.
Host students and families participating in Proyecto Hacienda are subject to an internal verification and coordination process established by the organization and La Salle School.
Availability is limited and participation in the program is subject to prior registration, confirmation, eligibility requirements, and the corresponding authorization procedures, particularly in the case of minors.
More Than a Conference
Proyecto Hacienda reflects one of the central values of BOLMUNPAZ: diplomacy begins with human connection.
By opening their homes to visiting delegates, members of the La Salle community help transform BOLMUNPAZ into more than a Model United Nations conference. It becomes an opportunity to create friendships, experience Bolivian culture, and build connections between students from different cities and countries.
For participants traveling to La Paz, BOLMUNPAZ does not simply offer a place to debate.
We welcome you into our community.
