Event Overview
Bayview Glen Model United Nations Conference 2026 is an exciting Model United Nations conference which will be taking place in the largest metropolis in Canada, Toronto! This conference will bring together high school students and allow them to take part in all that Model United Nations has to offer such as diplomacy, debate, public speaking, negotiation, and more. This conference will allow students to further their knowledge of international relations and politics, as well as improve their critical thinking and argumentative skills.

Friday, March 27th:
3:30 PM to 4:30 PM - Delegate Registration
4:30 PM to 5:15 PM - Opening Ceremonies
6:00 PM to 8:00 PM - Committee Session 1
Saturday, March 28th:
10:00 AM to 12:00 PM - Committee Session 2
12:00 PM to 1:00 PM - Lunch
1:00 PM to 3:30 PM - Committee Session 3
3:30 PM to 4:00 PM - Break
4:00 PM to 6:00 PM - Committee Session 4

Participation
BVGMUN 2026 is open to high school students who are interested in international affairs, diplomacy, and debate. Participants can be from ages 14 to 18 and must be in high school. Delegates can apply with a delegation or independently. Delegations should have educators or advisors who are guiding their delegates.
Committees and Topics
BVGMUN 2026 delegates will have the opportunity to take part in many types of Model UN committees. These committees are:
- United Nations Security Council (GA)
- United Nations Office of Information and Communications Technology (SGA)
- Gossip Girl (Crisis)
- Ad Hoc (Crisis) (Topic TBA)
Highlights
- Opening Ceremony with a keynote speaker from the world of diplomacy
- Committee Sessions filled with debates and discussions where delegates will draft resolution papers and present them to work towards solving global issues
- New Delegate Training to help build delegates’ confidence in public speaking, debate skills, and research for committee
- Closing Ceremony which will involve the recognition of delegates and delegates who went above and beyond
