Towards Peach & Prosperity through Diplomacy
DMUN, short for Discover MUN, has spent years doing exactly what its name says — helping students across the world discover what Model UN truly feels like when it is done right. From its early conferences to building a full circuit of events, DMUN has grown into something that delegates genuinely look forward to, not just attend. This championship edition is the peak of that journey.
DMUN Championship 2026 is the annual flagship conference of the DMUN circuit, and this year we are pulling out all the stops. Taking place online on December 5 and 6, 2026, this conference brings together university and school students from across the globe to debate the issues that actually matter right now. Not textbook scenarios. Not recycled topics. Real, pressing, uncomfortable questions that the world has not figured out yet.
What do the winners get?
Now, about the part that nobody in MUN usually says out loud but everyone is thinking about. Yes, there are awards. And yes, the best performing delegates walk away with a cash prize ranging from 75 to 200 USD based on their performance across the conference. But honestly, the cash prize is not even the biggest thing on the table. Outstanding delegates will also get the opportunity to join the DMUN Foundation and work on something that goes far beyond a single conference. On top of that, select delegates may be invited to attend actual United Nations conferences, subject to availability and feasibility. That is not a line we throw in to sound impressive. That is a real door that this conference can open for you.
We expect around 500 delegates this year, which means the competition is real, the debate will be fierce, and the connections you make over those two days will stick around long after the closing ceremony. Some of the best friendships and collaborations in the MUN world have started exactly this way, two strangers on opposite sides of a resolution, figuring out they actually agree on more than they thought.
