Where every word is weighed

Justice is the foundation upon which international order is built.

In an era defined by evolving conflicts, emerging legal challenges, and increasing global interdependence, international law serves as the common language through which states, institutions, and individuals seek accountability, resolve disputes, and uphold the principles of justice.

The DMUN Moot Court 2026 invites participants to step beyond diplomacy and into the world of international legal advocacy. Delegates will assume the roles of judges, prosecutors, defense counsels, legal advisers, and state representatives as they engage with some of the most complex questions confronting the international legal system.

International Criminal Court (ICC)

Accountability begins where impunity ends.

Within the International Criminal Court, participants will examine issues of individual criminal responsibility, crimes against humanity, genocide, and war crimes. Delegates will navigate complex legal proceedings, evaluate evidence, and determine how justice can be pursued when crimes transcend national borders.

International Court of Justice (ICJ)

When nations disagree, law becomes the path to resolution.

As the principal judicial organ of the United Nations, the International Court of Justice provides a forum for the peaceful settlement of disputes between states. Participants will argue cases involving territorial sovereignty, treaty interpretation, diplomatic relations, and state responsibility while seeking solutions grounded in international law.

United Nations General Assembly Sixth Committee (Legal) – UNGA 6

The future of international law is shaped by those who dare to define it.

The Sixth Committee serves as the primary forum for the consideration of legal questions within the United Nations. Delegates will debate the development and codification of international law, address emerging legal challenges, and work toward frameworks that reflect the evolving needs of the international community.

International Tribunal for War Crimes (ITWC)

Justice for the past safeguards humanity's future.

The International Tribunal for War Crimes challenges participants to address serious violations of international humanitarian law committed during armed conflicts. Delegates will investigate allegations of wartime atrocities, assess legal responsibility, and explore the delicate balance between accountability, reconciliation, and justice.

Beyond Advocacy

Success in this conference will require more than persuasive speaking. Participants must master legal reasoning, evidence analysis, treaty interpretation, precedent application, and strategic argumentation. Every statement must be supported by law, every claim scrutinized, and every decision capable of influencing the international legal order.

As legal questions grow increasingly complex and global challenges continue to test existing frameworks, the need for principled and innovative legal minds has never been greater.
