Artificial Intelligence is increasingly shaping global security through its use in defense systems, surveillance, spying, and cybersecurity. While AI enhances efficiency and threat detection, its unregulated development raises serious concerns, including autonomous weapons, mass surveillance, data misuse, and cyber escalation. The absence of clear international regulations risks ethical violations, privacy breaches, and global instability. Establishing responsible and cooperative AI governance is therefore essential to protect human rights, ensure transparency, and maintain international peace and security.

Opportunities

Beyond the academic experience, EPFLMUN 2026 will offer numerous opportunities for networking and social engagement. The conference will feature two dedicated social events, including a gala ball on Saturday evening, providing delegates with the chance to unwind, interact, and build lasting and meaningful connections with peers from around the world.

What's in the fee ?

Conference fees includes:

• breakfast and lunch on both Saturday and Sunday
• refreshments and snacks in between committee sessions
• access to both social events.

Process of application

1 - Registering

• Delegates : apply, select your committee and country preferences.
• Delegation : FA and HD can register their delegation and invite their delegates, who choose their preferences themselves.

⚠️ Please select preferences corresponding to your academic level (University / High School).

2 - Getting accepted

Once you have applied, please check regularly your mailbox. You should receive a notification of acceptance/refuse within the week after your application.
If you haven't received anything, please contact us on WhatsApp.

3 - Paying

⚠️ You will only be assigned once you have paid your fee.

4 - Be assigned a country

Wait to receive your assignment. The assignements will be made one to two weeks before the conference.

Delegation discount

Any delegation of 6 people or more can contact the secretariat by email or WhatsApp to obtain a discount for every Delegate Fees.

Refunds

EPFLMUN2026 will refund the amount paid minus 20.- to any refund request made before 07.03.2025 @ 23:59 (full refund policy available in Terms & Conditions).
