Welcome to GYDI MUN 2026 — where young minds meet global challenges.

Organized by the Global Youth Diplomacy Initiative (GYDI), GYDI MUN 2026 is a student-led international Model United Nations conference bringing together ambitious young delegates from diverse backgrounds to engage in diplomacy, debate, negotiation, and collaborative problem-solving.

In a world shaped by rapidly evolving security challenges, technological transformation, environmental pressures, and global inequalities, meaningful dialogue has never been more important. GYDI MUN provides delegates with a platform to step beyond the role of a student and experience the responsibilities of international diplomacy.

Throughout the conference, delegates will represent their assigned countries, develop informed positions, negotiate with fellow representatives, draft solutions, and navigate the complexities of multilateral decision-making. Every speech, negotiation, and resolution is an opportunity to think critically, communicate effectively, and understand perspectives beyond one's own.

What makes GYDI MUN particularly meaningful is its commitment to accessibility. As an online conference, it aims to create opportunities for individual delegates who may not have access to large MUN communities or international conferences, allowing students from different cities, schools, and backgrounds to participate on a common platform.

Recognition & Certificates

GYDI MUN 2026 recognizes outstanding performance, leadership, diplomacy, and dedication throughout the conference. Certificates of recognition will be provided to distinguished participants, including:

  • Best Delegate
  • Outstanding Delegate
  • Honourable Mention
  • Best Co-Chair
  • Best Head Chair
  • Outstanding Dais/Chair Recognition

These recognitions are intended to acknowledge participants who demonstrate strong preparation, diplomatic conduct, effective communication, leadership, constructive negotiation, and meaningful contribution to committee proceedings.

GYDI MUN 2026 is more than a conference. It is a space for ideas, diplomacy, leadership, and dialogue.

Whether you are an experienced MUN delegate or stepping into the world of diplomacy for the first time, GYDI MUN invites you to question, negotiate, collaborate, and lead.
