School Students

Elevate, Engage, Empower

Hillfield Strathallan College is gearing up to host our second annual HSCMUN conference, which will be located at our school on February 7th, 2025.

This single-day conference is a perfect opportunity for middle and high school students to gain experience, knowledge, and insight into global social and economic issues and the Model United Nations experience.

HSCMUN is proud to offer a diverse range of committee-designed delegates of all skill levels, from beginner double delegations to advanced-level crisis simulations. Each committee will be chaired by highly experienced HSC alumni and supported by current HSC students, ensuring engaging, well-facilitated debates. Our academically rigorous background, developed by alumni chairs and student deputy chairs, provides delegates with the resources needed to excel. Whether you are new to Model UN or a seasoned participant, HSCMUN offers a committee that will challenge and inspire you.

Each year, the organizing committee collectively chooses a charitable partner, intending to promote the organization both before and during the conference. Any proceeds from the conference and all conference-related fundraising are donated to the charitable partner after the event. This year, we have chosen Empowerment Squared.

With this, our conference theme is Elevate, Engage, Empower. It reflects our vision of elevating youth voices, engaging with issues that impact young people worldwide, and empowering conference participants to address the problems within their communities.

As well, on the day of the conference, lunch will be provided, and all dietary restrictions will be accommodated upon request.

We are calling for you! Registration closes on January 23rd, 2026, and if you sign up now, we are offering an early bird price for a limited time only! To register, head to our website, here where you can register as a school or an independent delegate.
