Common Ground Through Science

Houston, this is Mission Control. All flight controllers, settle in.

In celebration of the International STEM Day 2026 and World Science Day for Peace and Development 2026, the Organization for Research in Biology, Interstellar, and Technology (ORBIT) had decided to conduct its second Model United Nations open for every STEM nerds around the globe!

Unlike usual MUNs that include committees circulating the usual United Nations groups, our MUN welcomes space agencies and medical research and production companies to discuss the growth and expansion of space exploration and technology advancement in the fields of STEM.

Our conference is entirely free! This allows everyone to join to our conference and, in extension, can apply for our organization through our social media (@orbi.t71 in instagram).

CERTIFICATIONS AVAILABLE:

  • Certificate of Participation: For those who attended at least 3 sessions
  • Delegates: Best Delegate Award, Outstanding Delegate Award, and Best Position Paper
  • Chairs: Best Chair Award, Outstanding Chair Award, and Best Committee Award

SCHEDULE:
We have successfully mapped the trajectory for our two-day orbit. All times are strictly calibrated to GMT+0, so ensure your local time modules are fully synchronized before ignition.

FLIGHT DAY 2: November 8th

CRITICAL MISSION DIRECTIVES FROM THE COMMANDER:

  1. Position Papers: To be counted for flight clearance, all position papers must be submitted at least 5 days prior to Flight Day 1 (November 2). No late papers will be allowed past the deadline.
  2. Chairs: Each committee contains one Head Chair and one Vice Chair due to limited MUN Command capacity.
  3. Emails: Always keep yourselves posted for the WhatsApp Community Links and Announcements.
  4. Committee Format: ISSC will operate as a hybrid committee structure wherein governments make the diplomatic decisions, while space agencies and medical companies provide technical expertise and can influence the negotiations. SEC will operate as a crisis committee wherein there will be last minute changes to the debate being constructed without the delegates' prior knowledge.

Good luck out there, delegates. Let’s make this a clean burn.

Houston, out.
