What is Model UN?
Model UN is a simulation where you become a diplomat and represent a given country. You will debate real-world global issues, work together with other like-minded and fun students, and try to find solutions through discussions, negotiation, and teamwork. Furthermore, it will help you improve your public speaking, critical thinking, and leadership skills.
Committees:
UN Security Council (SC) – 🇬🇧 English, for intermediate MUNers
As delegates, you will discuss the political and military aspects of the Russia–Ukraine conflict, including international security, sanctions, diplomacy, and possible solutions for peace.
ECOSOC – 🇬🇧 English, for delegates with little to no experience in such simulations
As delegates, you will focus on the economic and humanitarian consequences of the conflict, such as refugees, poverty, reconstruction, and international aid.
DISEC – 🇧🇬 Bulgarian, for delegates with little to no experience in such simulations
As delegates, you will debate issues related to international security, weapons, military escalation, and maintaining peace during the conflict.
Topic: The Conflict Between Russia and Ukraine
You will get the chance to better understand the war in Eastern Europe, as well as gain knowledge about the main reasons behind it. You will discuss humanitarian issues and possible solutions for peace and stability.

📍 Venues: Assembly Hall – First English Language School (FELS), it's a secret...The National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria
💶 Participation Fee: 15 EUR – to be paid in cash on the first day of the model.
During the model, you can expect multiple breaks, lunch on Saturday and Sunday (pizza), water, and many snacks throughout all days. As well as excuse note for school and a certificate for participation.
