🌍 UNITED NATIONS DAY YOUTH SUMMIT 2026

One World. Countless Voices. A Shared Future.

Date: October 24, 2026

Format: Online

Occasion: United Nations Day

ABOUT THE SUMMIT

The United Nations Day Youth Summit 2026 is a youth-focused educational and interactive summit created to celebrate United Nations Day and introduce young people to the work, history, purpose, and global impact of the United Nations.

The summit aims to provide a platform where young people can learn about the organisation established to promote international cooperation, maintain international peace and security, advance human rights, and encourage sustainable development.

Beyond celebrating the United Nations, the summit seeks to help participants understand how the organisation works, the role it plays in addressing global challenges, the importance of cooperation among nations, and the opportunities available for young people to engage with global affairs.

Through educational sessions, guest speakers, interactive discussions, and collaborative activities, participants will explore the United Nations' history, its principal organs, its specialised agencies and programmes, the Sustainable Development Goals, and its continuing relevance in today's world.

The summit will also encourage participants to reflect on the challenges facing the international community and consider how young people can contribute to a more peaceful, inclusive, and sustainable future.

Whether participants are already interested in international relations or are simply curious about the United Nations, this summit offers an opportunity to learn, ask questions, exchange perspectives, and discover the power of global cooperation.
