Event Overview

World Diplomats Model United Nations (MUN) – Istanbul 2027 is an international academic conference designed to provide students and young professionals with an immersive experience in diplomacy, global governance, and multilateral decision-making. Organized by World Diplomats, a flagship project of Globenix Youth Forum Ltd (United Kingdom), the conference will bring together participants from diverse educational, national, and cultural backgrounds for a structured United Nations simulation.

Situated at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, Istanbul has long served as a centre of cultural exchange, international commerce, and diplomacy. With its rich history, multicultural identity, and unique global significance, the city provides an inspiring environment for emerging diplomats and young leaders to engage in meaningful discussions about contemporary international affairs.

World Diplomats Istanbul 2027 will welcome delegates from around the world to debate pressing global issues, strengthen their leadership abilities, develop diplomatic skills, and build lasting international friendships.

Participation

World Diplomats Istanbul 2027 is open to students and young professionals interested in international relations, diplomacy, global governance, and international affairs. Participants may apply in the following roles:

  • Delegates: Individuals representing assigned countries in United Nations committees
  • Head Delegates: Representatives responsible for coordinating institutional or group delegations
  • Faculty Advisors: Educators or mentors accompanying student delegations

Both first-time participants and experienced MUN delegates are welcome.

Committees & Academic Focus

Delegates will participate in simulations of selected United Nations committees and international bodies, addressing contemporary global challenges related to international peace and security, human rights, sustainable development, public health, refugee protection, and international cooperation.

Committee agendas will encourage substantive debate, policy analysis, diplomatic negotiation, and consensus-based resolution drafting.
