<p>A path to success is unlimited but every path has a beginning! For me, participation in MUN became the initiating point for the road of my dreams to be successful. </p><p><br></p><p>So far, I have participated in many MUN’s speaking on a range of issues such as Women Empowerment, Child Labour, LGBTQ+ inclusions, empowering students with disabilities amongst many others. </p><p><br></p><p>I had never thought in my rarest of dreams that I will develop an interest to read about or speak on such significant issues of our society. Public speaking has been something of which I was never afraid. I enjoy articulating my ideas and thoughts through my speaking capabilities. </p><p>MUN provided me with such an encouraging platform to pursue my interest areas. </p><p><br></p><p>Participation in these forums also offered an opportunity to meet other like-minded people across the globe. The model of making thematic working groups <span style="font-size: 1rem;">brainstorm on a particular issue and then coming up with recommendations actually make me feel as if I am representing a country in a diplomatic sense. </span></p><p><br></p><p>I was lucky enough to win several awards, after which I call myself a young diplomat and an enthusiastic learner!</p>
