The EMERGE Zambia National Model United Nations Conference – Unicaf University Edition 2026 is a premier academic simulation that brings together university students from across Zambia to engage in meaningful dialogue and debate on some of the world's most pressing political, economic, social, environmental, and humanitarian challenges.

Held under the theme "Beyond GDP: Redefining Global Progress for People, Planet, and Prosperity," the conference invites delegates to critically examine traditional measures of development and explore innovative approaches to achieving sustainable progress through human well-being, social equity, environmental responsibility, technological advancement, and inclusive economic transformation.

Over the course of two days, delegates will represent Member States and international organizations in engaging committee sessions designed to simulate the workings of global institutions. Through diplomacy, negotiation, research, policy formulation, and consensus-building, participants will address complex international issues connected to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The EMERGE Zambia National Model United Nations Conference – Unicaf University Edition 2026 provides an exceptional platform for both experienced delegates and first-time participants to strengthen essential leadership competencies, including public speaking, critical thinking, research, teamwork, negotiation, and international diplomacy.

Join us at Unicaf University as we challenge conventional ideas of progress and work together to redefine development beyond economic growth — placing people, planet, and prosperity at the heart of global leadership.
