    About the committee

One of the most significant Yugoslav Wars episodes, the Bosnian War (1992–1995), serves as a prime example of the catastrophic effects of ethnic strife in Europe. In order to mediate peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina, representatives to the historic Security Council, established in 1995, will need to negotiate a complex web of political, ethnic, and international issues. In a period of crucial historical importance, this course tests participants' understanding of the intricacies of international diplomacy and conflict resolution.
