Renaissance for Diplomacy: A New Dawn of Global Unity
Mentari International School Jakarta is pleased to announce its annual Model United Nations Conference with the theme “Renaissance for Diplomacy: A New Dawn of Global Unity.”
In MUN, students learn about the United Nations and its agencies, and how countries collaborate to create a resolution to a global issue. MUN does not only teach diplomacy, but also the skill of debating, public speaking, teamwork, and negotiation.
The whole purpose of this program and event is to, among other things, conduct and simulate diplomacy and further students' understanding of our world, whether geopolitical, local, and many more. In addition, it also incentivizes and gives students, those on committee and those attending to be able to further socialize and foster potentially long-lasting relations, with students across Jakarta and beyond, all in the spirit of global peace, cooperation, and diplomacy.
